As a “Buyer Representative” only, Homebuyer’s Services of America’s Founder/BIC, DarrellGodfrey, has always believed he is in a better position to best serve his clients in their quest to find the right home. It was this desire to “be there” for people who entrusted him with their dream of homeownership that led Darrell to enact a new company concept – the “Qne–stop shop” for residential home buyers. With this in mind and Darrell’s mortgage banking experience, HomeBuyer’s Services of America, expanded its services to not only include real estate, but also mortgage loan services, homeowner insurance coverage, etc. This comprehensive package made the entire process of securing a new home much more convenient for potential homebuyers.

Born in Clinton, South Carolina, Darrell has made his home in Columbia for almost 40 years. He and his brother, were among the first sets of identical twins to achieve the honor of becoming Eagle Scouts simultaneously. Darrell received an honorable discharge from the USMC. He is a life Member of Ancient Free Masons, a Jamil Shriner, as well as, a member of the Valley of Columbia Scottish Rite. He is also a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Irmo and also belongs to the Lake Murray Chamber of Commerce. Darrell earned his college degree from USC where he is a member of the Gamecock Club and, of course, is an AVID GAMECOCK fan! (However with his daughter, Amber – a CLEMSON grad, and his son, Chaucer – a Citadel grad, Darrell does pull for the Tigers and the Bulldogs if they aren’t playing South Carolina.)

Darrell and his wife, Pam, make their home in Columbia where they enjoy spending time with their ten grandchildren-(all of whom fortunately lived closed by!)
